Omni Digital closely collaborated with global risk intelligence company Verisk Maplecroft, UN Global Compact and the German Government’s Helpdesk on the development and launch of the Business & Human Rights Navigator (BHR Navigator). This important tool is helping support and guide global companies in their efforts to better understand and address human rights impacts in their operations and supply chains.
The BHR team required a new website that was modern, professional and accessible to existing users and new audiences around the world.
Our solution
Omni Digital takes a code agnostic approach to every project. Following requirement gathering around content, scalability, management and performance, WordPress proved the most appropriate platform for the project.
The biggest challenge with this project was coordinating feedback from sources in different time zones, including Germany, the UK and the US. Bi-weekly meetings were run in parallel with development sprints to create an environment for feedback that was listened to and appropriately actioned.
An agile project management methodology ensured that highest priority tasks were undertaken first, enabling progress to be demonstrated at regular milestones throughout the project.
Omni Digital also supported with content management prior to launch, adding translations in German, English and Spanish.
